Data Scientist & Software Engineer
About Me
My Work
The mission of a data scientist in professional sport is to collect data, group them together and cross-reference them. To make a real analysis useful to the staff and transposable to the field. In order to help the staff make critical decisions about players and teams, the data scientist must be able to collect data using the right tools, aggregate, cross-reference and process large amounts of data, apply a "scientific filter" to this mass of data and finally create decision support tools for staffs.
I can develop web or software interfaces for the purpose of collaborating, sharing and analysing data. I can develop a customised tool that suits your needs as a team, but also customisable to the desires of each individual.
I can create rest APIs in order to connect your databases to those of your favourite applications, Catapult for GPS, Force Decks, Force Frames or GymAware for physical testing. Developing your own API allows you to request only the data you need, which is a cost and time saving.
Data Scientist & Software Engineer based in the South West of France
After studying Data Science & Software Engineering at ESTIA (France), i am currently working as a Data Scientist for a pro rugby team. I am open to new opportunities in sports performance as a consultant/freelance.
As sport has always been my passion, I decided to make it my profession by combining it with my computer programming skills. My goal is to help athletes, coaches and teams to better organise collective and individual performance management by providing them with collaborative tools for performance analysis and optimisation.
